Just a quick note to point out a wonderful opportunity for writers and artists and those who are fantastically talented enough to be both.

Mark Millar, writer of Kick-Ass, has created a new magazine called CLiNT. There are various comics that will appear in its pages, including Kick-Ass 2 and Jonathan Ross's first forray into comic books: Turf. But most wonderfully of all, there will be space set aside in each issue for new talent.

That can mean you, if you want it to. There are two types of entries possible. One for short comic strips, between 4-6 pages. Like a short story but with pictures. The other is for compelling, enduring, brilliant characters that could have their own strip entirely devoted to them. On Mark's website there are two threads devoted to this talent search where people can submit their stuff to their heart's content, and anything he likes, he buys.
